Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
The Knowledge Library implements comprehensive RBAC to ensure secure and controlled access to your data.
Access Levels
Configure who can access and collaborate on your libraries:
- Public: Open access to all users on the platform
- Workspace Level: Available to all members within your specific workspace/organization
- Individual Users: Granular control over specific user access within your organization
- Owner: Full administrative control and management rights
Managing Access
Navigate to your library's "Access" tab
Under "Manage Access", configure:
- Access Level: Choose from Public, Workspace Level, or Individual Users
- User Selection: When using Individual Users, add or remove specific users from your organization
- Workspace Settings: For workspace-level access, all organization members gain access automatically
- Collaboration Rights: Define what actions users can perform within their access level
Click "Save" to apply changes
Permission Types
- View Only: Read access to library content
- Contributor: Can add new content and modify existing items
- Administrator: Full control including access management
- Owner: Complete administrative privileges
