Getting Started with Knowledge Library

Creating Your First Library

  1. Navigate to the Knowledge Library section in your Truxt dashboard
  2. Click the "Create New Library" button in the top-right corner
  3. In the modal dialog, enter your knowledge base name
  4. Click "Create" to establish your new library

Library Structure

Each library contains:

  • Files: Uploaded documents, PDFs, text files, and other supported formats
  • Web Links: URLs that are crawled and indexed for content
  • Metadata: Creation dates, file types, and processing status
  • Access Controls: User permissions and sharing settings

Managing Libraries

Library Overview

Your libraries are displayed in a clean interface showing:

  • Library name and description
  • Privacy status (Private/Shared)
  • File count and member count
  • Creation date and recent activity

Library Types

  • My Libraries: Libraries you own and have created
  • Shared with me: Libraries that other users have shared with you

After creating your first library:

  1. Start by uploading some sample documents or adding web links
  2. Configure access permissions if you plan to share the library
  3. Begin interacting with your content through the AI chat interface
  4. Explore advanced features like bulk operations and integrations
